The Mathis Foundation for Children is thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Lighthouse Youth Services to continue the Mentor Program for foster children and youth who have aged out of foster care in Greater Cincinnati. Our desire to improve the lives of our community's most vulnerable children will be greatly enhanced by this relationship. The Mentor Program at Lighthouse will provide sustainability and stability for the services the Mathis Foundation has provided foster children for the past 15 years. Long term mentors, financial assistance for educational opportunities, leadership programs, and scholarships will continue to be the focus of the Mentor Program.

The 2012 Mathis Celebrity Golf Classic, July 15th, 16th, and 17th, will continue with the help of Lighthouse Development Department to provide funding specifically for the Mentor Program. Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities, as well as golf foursomes, will be solicited in the spring.
